The Greenbrier 4-H club met at Landus Co-op in Jefferson on Monday, Sept. 9. Roll call was, “If you could travel anywhere and get there in 60 seconds; where would it be?”
Old business: 4-H records books were due by Sept. 3 to get awards. New business: Awards Day is Nov. 3 at the Churdan Library with the supper at 5 pm. National 4-H week is Oct. 6 – 12. 4-H enrollments are due by Nov. 15. The election of officers is in October. The Greenbrier family potluck is Nov 3.
Everyone participated in completing a 4-H crossword puzzle. 4-H presentations were done by Sadie Gilbertson and Autumn Stevens on Lack of Sleep, Noble and Nehemiah Hoyt on Wrestling Moves, and Naphtali Hoyt on Why Parents Should Homeschool their Kids.
Refreshments were served by Noble, Naphtali, and Nehemiah Hoyt, Sadie Gilbertson, and Autumn Stevens. Greenbrier’s next meeting will be Oct. 14 at 7 pm at Landus Co-op. -Bailey Anderson, Reporter
